Well, above are the latest works done in relief plaster. The surface patterns are raised from the background (relief). With all of the works I have added shapes and colours which are personal to me as well as keeping in with the theme "fungi."

During the next week I hope to explore other connections to fungi, which will take me in another direction. This will change the work substantially and the mediums (paint, plaster, charcoal etc;) I use will possibly change too. I use different media to reflect the sensitivity of the subject, for example if shape is important to me I may use plaster to emphasise this. I use whichever media reflects my interest in the subject I am working on.
